Hi there everybody, I thought setting up a section for discussions on lakes and inland rivers and streams here in the Blog, might be a useful thing. Anyhow it’s here and ready to go for anyone who wants to post. Have Fun!

We have had a number of new subscribers register to use our fishing-blog, but no new post have appeared. I know allot of our visitors would like to make use of the blog but are a little unsure of how the whole thing works.
The following instructions will hopefully simplify the whole blog thing and help us get things started.
The Postmaster, that’s me, controls the blogs main topics. I posted some general topic areas like “Big Pond Fishing” , “Tips & Techniques”, “Umpqua River Fishing” etc…
As you read down to the end of all the comments with that particular topic, you will see the word “comments“ with a (#) next to it. This (#) represents the number of comments that have been made in connection with this particular topic, for instance it could look something like comments (5) would mean that 5 people had posted comments on that topic.
Before you can post a comment or response in the fish-blog you will need to register. You will see a link on the right hand sidebar toward the bottom of the list that says “register” just follow that link, provide us with a little information and you are read to start “blogging”.
If you want to add you’re two cents worth just click on the word comments and a comment box will appear where you can type in a comment or response related to the topic at hand. A webblog is simply a tool that allows us to discuss a particular topic at greater depth.
At time goes by our subscribers can come back to the fishing blog, search for information related to whatever type of fishing you are interested in doing and find a gold mine of related information.
Ok, no more excuses for not participating in the www.fish-works.com weblog. Register, read a topic post or comment, click on comment and away we go………………

Here is a section of the fish-blog that has been set aside for all you seasoned anglers out there to offer up some savory fishing techniques, tips and secrets. Have a favorite bait recipe or a line rigging technique that has worked well for you in the past, share it with the rest of us. For those of you who are new to fishing on the Oregon coast here is a great place for you to ask those questions that have been buzzing around between you’re ears all winter. We have allot of generous people here at www.fish-works.com that would be happy to lend you their ear and some good information. It’s all for the asking!

Welcome — postmaster @ 2:02 pm

We hope you will find the addition of a weblog to www.fish-works.com a helpful and useful resource. We are not replacing the good old home page reports with this blog, this is just another lure in the box to get more people involved with the website.
I am setting up catagories for various topics for discussion. If you think a new catagory would be helpful to you and other visitors, let us know by emailing postmaster@fish-works.com and we will take it under consideration.
Fish-Works.Com has been a fun place to visit and gather up or report fishing activities for the Umpqua River system and Winchester Bay, oh yeah! I almost forgot, the Smith River too.
Well have fun and enjoy. If you are having problems with the blog, let me know and I’ll either provide assistance or make adjustments in the way the blog works. email: reports@fish-works.com click here to return to www.fish-works.com .
